Useful Tips
Consult your eye specialist immediately.
Put drops advised by an eye doctor. Drops advised by a chemist may not be safe and be harmful in the long term.
Use Protective dark glasses for comfort and hygiene.
Precationary Measures To Avoid Infection
Do not shake hands with persons having red eyes.
Avoid touching doorbells, doorhandles, electric switches and other items of common use.
Avoid rubbing eyes, but clean eyes delicately with sterile cotton swabs.
Wash hands with soap and water everytime the infected person touches eyes. Infection to oneself and others can be minimised.
Have separate handkerchief, soap, pillow and such items to protect the family members.
