• Keep a distance of 8 to 10 feet between your eyes and TV.
  • See TV in sitting posture and TV should be below head level.
  • Blink your eyes frequently while watching.
  • Continous TV watching is harmful to eyes.
  • Give a break say every half an hour or so. Breaks during advertisements could be used for relaxing your eyes.
  • Don't put lights off. Keep the room lighted from behind.
  • Keep color & contrast low or medium.
  • Fast changing scenes (frames ) strain your eyes too much.
  • Late night TV watching should be minimum.
